Lifespan of Your bra

Lately, You are probably hearing all kinds of things about your bra!

Things like,"You have been wearing the wrong size your whole life!"

Or, " You should only wear sports bras" or "push up bras are bad for you."

The list goes on and on.

While I agree that a lot of women do not know how to correctly measure themselves for a bra (Quick easy remedy for that!) I don'y want to get bogged down with too much information. Or should I say misinformation.

Which brings me to my point.

I am going to be writing short, simple posts in the journal with some good information on your bra!

I am keeping it simple!

So, how often should you get a new bra? What is the average lifespan of your bra?

The simple answer is about 6 to 9 months depending on how often you wear it.

An easier way to think of this is to think of your favorite jeans. You probably have one pair that REALLY love! The fit and comfort is just perfect and it your tush looks great in them!

Now you also probably have more than one pair of pants. Ans since you love your amazing jeans, you are more careful as to how you wash them and even when you wear them.

Your bra is no different, with proper washing and storing, you will get a longer life out of it.

It is better to have at LEAST 3 -5 bras. I personally would suggest a few more than that.

Please don't wear the same bra two days in a row.

Also Ladies, if it is stained, has tears, the elastic is stretched out, the underwire is poking out, missing hooks, or there is a safety pin attatched... it's time to get a new one!

You have permission to buy more than one bra per year!

Just like your jeans!

As I said I was keeping these post short and simple. In the next few keep an eye out for measuring properly, the easiest way to clean your bra in 5 minutes and more.
